Last Friday, the MSR Elementary Campus held its annual Heritage Fair, a celebration of all things Canada! 🇨🇦
Every year Heritage Saskatchewan holds Heritage Fairs across the province to increase awareness of Canadian heritage, to celebrate cultural diversity, and to create an exciting learning environment for students!
Students from grades 3-8 (as well as a few from the grade 1/2 classroom) were able to research a topic that interested them and design a presentation to share their knowledge! From Maple Trees and Canadian Folktales to Canadian Music and Canada/US Relations, our students worked so hard on their projects and we learned a lot about Canada! 🍁🐉🎶
A big thank you to our judges who took the time to spend this afternoon with us! And thank you to all the parents and families who came to support our students! You really helped make this event special! 👏

Students from our grades 3-8 classes travelled to Mission Ridge Winter Park in Fort Qu’Appelle for an afternoon of winter fun! We kicked off with a lesson to master the slopes and then spent the afternoon skiing, snowboarding, and snow-tubing! From advanced skiers to complete beginners, everyone had an amazing time!
Thank you so much to the teachers and parent volunteers that helped make this trip happen! 🙌
