Welcome to our Pre-Primary Mayfield Campus!
Our Pre-Primary program welcomes children of mixed ages, from 2.6 to 5+ years. Through this unique setting, children learn from each other and because of each other. Younger children observe and learn from older peers, while older children reinforce their knowledge by sharing it with younger classmates. This constant interaction encourages children to take responsibility for themselves and others, fosters respect for different ages and abilities, and promotes kindness in the classroom community. Here, each child is treated with dignity and respect and learns to do the same for others.
At Mayfield Campus, our classrooms are housed inside Wilfred Hunt School. Our Montessori programming is offered for Full Days from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. We also offer extended hours programs from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM and from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, tailored to meet families’ needs, subject to availability.
Additionally, we accept kindergarten-age students in our Pre-Primary program five days a week, prioritizing full-time or daily attendance over part-time or shared attendance with another school. The Montessori Program head educator provides a report card to support each child’s future educational journey. Kindergarten children aged six and under will remain eligible for the Government’s Parent Fee Reduction Grant until the end of the school year or until they turn seven, whichever comes first. Regular rates will apply once a child is no longer eligible.
Please note that the Pre-Primary Mayfield Campus follows an education calendar, similar to the public school calendar, and operates from September to June.
